Animal Birth Control Program - Ranchi:

Dog Catching in the Man Run Rickshaw - We raise our own funds to continue ongoing ABC Program.

December 2008 - Animal Birth Control Program is being run in the Army Campus. News - Ranchi Municipal Corporation does not have funds for ABC. See Projects for more information.

ABC - December 2008 - Army Camp:

Dogs are shifted from the Ricksahw to the temporary large kennel after catching - They are kept for a day before operation

Improved Practices adopted as per the suggestions by HIS team. Request has been sent to AWBI for suppport- More than 800 dogs are being operated with 99% success rate.


			Helping Organisation for People, Environment (HOPE) and Animal Trust is a non-governmental organisation working in Ranchi District of Jharkhand State in India. We are a small registered, tax exempted charitable non profit group working to improve the lives of Animals by helping People since year 2000. *We are recognised by AWBI (Animal Welfare Board of India) Registration # 10-882/06- AWO Dated - 20 February 2007* OUR CURRENT EFFORTS ARE: 1. Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme -- One Year = 800 Spay/ Neuter - 30,000 to go. In association with Ranchi Municipal Corporation, we are running the ABC program and waiting for AWBI's support for continuity of the program. 2. A Resource & Treatment Centre on Livestock farming -- to promote practice in Humane livestock farming and help improve lives of the farm animals, concerning care and rural communities, economically.<<<Full VIDEO OR <<<See short version 3. Veterinary Clinic -- to provide assistance to all injured animals and to educate people about how to take care of their animals.
