Helping Organisation for People, Environment (HOPE) and Animal Trust is a non-governmental organisation working in Ranchi District of Jharkhand State, India. We are a small registered non profit group working to improve the lives of Animals by helping People since year 2000. After 6 years of hard work, we have almost finshed developing our infrastructure 35 Km away from Ranchi, which includes an Animal Shelter with a Resource and Treatment Centre, including a Training Centre for the community, on more than 27,000 Square feet land owned by the organisation.

We are recognised by AWBI (Animal Welfare Board of India) Registration # 10-882/06- AWO Dated - 20 February 2007

OUR CURRENT EFFORTS ARE:

1. A Resource & Treatment Centre on Livestock farming -- to promote practice in Humane livestock farming and help improve lives of the farm animals, concerning care and rural communities, economically.<<<Full VIDEO OR <<<See short version

2. Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme -- to vaccinate and sterilise the 30,000 + stray dogs in Ranchi.

3. Veterinary Clinic -- to provide assistance to all injured animals and to educate people about how to take care of their animals.
