First time in India by Innovative approach:

Dogs are shifted from the Ricksahw to the temporary large kennel and kept for a day before operation

Improved Practices adopted as per the suggestions by HIS team. AWBI has approved grant for 3000 dogs since we started; As of December 2009, 2484 dogs are being operated (for the year 2009 the figure is 1228) with 99% success rate.
 
Helping Organisation for People, Environment (HOPE) and Animal Trust is a non-governmental organisation working in Ranchi District of Jharkhand State in India. We are a small registered, tax exempted charitable non profit group working to improve the lives of Animals by helping People since year 2000.

We are recognised by AWBI (Animal Welfare Board of India) Registration # 10-882/06- AWO Dated - 20 February 2007

OUR CURRENT EFFORTS ARE:

1. Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme -- Tow Years = 2484 Spay/ Neuter - approx 28,000 to go. In association with Ranchi Municipal Corporation, we are running the ABC program, awaited support from AWBI is with us and now working with full streangth to achieve the results as early as possible.

2. A Resource & Treatment Centre on Livestock farming -- to promote practice in Humane livestock farming to help improve lives of the farm animals and our environment by stopping the deforestation, concerning care and rural communities, economically.<<<Full VIDEO OR<<<See short version

3. Veterinary Clinic -- to provide assistance to all injured animals and to educate people about how to take care of their animals.

The ABC Program is in action and Veterinary Clinic also started.
