Mr. Jawaharlal Srivastava is a retired (IFS) Chief Conservator of Forest for Jharkhand. He is the Chairman of
the organisation.
Mr. Vijay Earnest Massey has served more than
ten years
with Action Aid-India and completed health related projects
mostly in the
rural sectors of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar
Pradesh. He helps us in
our training programs with his enriched
experience. He is the Vice Chairman of
the organisation.
Ms. Rashi Anand A young NGO Management and Advertising professional.
She has experience in fund raising and event management.
She is an activist and Animal
lover.
She joined us early this year, 2007. She is still studying and takes time out for
our Animal Welfare Activities. She is the youngest member in our group and is a Joint
Secretary of the organisation.
Mr. Niraj Kumar Bhagat A 32 year young man who
is a
Management professional. He works for UNICEF as a District Co-ordinator for health programs.
He is honorary Treasurer of the organization.
He is involved in Project Management.
His community development approach
brought a new life in the field
of Farm Animals and their
Welfare.
Mrs. Sweta Roy wife of Mr. Chandrashekhar Roy,
who has
spent her entire life in Jharkhand State. She is a retired
School Principal
who apart from guidance also helps us keep proper
accounts of the
organisation. Also being teacher by profession,
she takes the
responsibility of mobilizing used clothes, notebooks
and stationary
materials for village children.
Ms. Bhawna
Mehta A rural development professional
joined us in year 2006. She
has done her post graduation from XISS
Ranchi.
She has done a research study on socio-economic
status of tribal of Jharkhand and its impact on development.
Ms. Claudia Vijge Based in Holland and involved in Wildlife projects, specially efforts are made on saving the tigers. She has been volunteering her time with us for almost a year now.
Dr. Sailendra N Roy, BS, DVM Doctor of veterinary medicine. He has a facility at
Silver Spring, Maryland,
USA, where he provides a full service in preventive animal
health care,
nutritional & alternative therapy for pets from local community
residents.
He is also closely associated with ASPCA, Humane Society Shelter and
offer
s services for sick or injured animals from the shelter at no cost or
reduced cost. He is been involved with these activities over 20 years.
Governing Board Members
Mrs. Bharti Sahay daughter of leading
philanthropist
doctor Kamakhya.P. Lohray and Mrs. Kamakshyai Lohray from
Bihar.
Married to Mr. G. S. Sahay for last 40 years. Since early age,
she has been volunteering social work in Bihar/ Jharkhand.
She actively worked on sufferings of animals, birds and aquatic
animals.
Caring senior citizens, helping females for pre natal
and post natal
healthcare education, and imparting education to
deprived people has been
on her agenda for last two decades. She
along with her husband are active
member of Gayatri Parivar and
Yug Nirman Yojna. Association with Gayatri
Parivar has increased
their scope and area of work in India.
Ms. Viet Hong Sahay Having an MBA in Finance from the
USA and presently serving as Director Finance and Operation of
ACI
PHARM INC, New York, she is an active volunteer to social
causes. Mrs. Hong
Sahay has been instrumental in setting up educational
trusts to provide
financial aid and counseling to needy students
in different countries.
Besides, she contributed her skills and
expertise in setting up charitable
hospitals for poor.
